Survey Design

Surveys can be a powerful research tool for assessing client needs, customer satisfaction or a group’s attitudes or opinions.  However, surveys need to be carefully designed or they may produce data that is not useful or even worse, deceptive and misleading.   With our extensive background in survey design, administration and analysis, we can help you design surveys that obtain the needed information, avoid unnecessary questions and maximize response rates.

Our experience ranges from multi-year national surveys to single purpose instruments designed to gather feedback on many different issues.  We will work with you to address your information requirements and the best option available to you.  Once the survey instrument is generated, we can discuss your sampling methodology and guide you through your options.

Survey projects we have been involved with include:
  • Survey of mature students at northern Alberta colleges
  • Canadian University Survey Consortium (CUSC) surveys
  • Survey of instructors in trades and industrial programs at northern Alberta colleges
  • Alberta Infrastructure post-occupancy surveys for school and office facilities
  • Numerous survey projects at MacEwan University
  • The Canadian College Student Survey project (in partnership with the Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation)
  • Survey of Workers' Compensation Board appeals claimants

Let us help you with your survey research and ensure that you obtain the information you need - contact Golden Sage.
